CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Food Lion is expanding its to go grocery pick up service at its Mount Holly-Huntersville Road location in Charlotte beginning June 7th.

Food Lion officials say with more shoppers choosing to save time by ordering groceries online, the launch of this service comes just in time to make summer shopping even easier.

Customers can place orders through the Food Lion To Go website here or the Food Lion To Go app, with just the click of a button.

“Continuing to expand this service to more Food Lion stores is important to us and our customers,” said store manager Branden Goetsch at the Charlotte Food Lion. “We want to give local Charlotte neighbors the option to shop through the channel they prefer, in-store or online, while still ensuring they have access to fresh groceries at affordable prices.”

Food Lion customers 21-years-old and up can also purchase beer and wine through To Go.

Officials say the company continues to expand this new service across its local towns and cities in an attempt to make grocery shopping even more fast, easy, and affordable.
