Feeling Like June

While no single day ahead will be a wash, your neighborhood should see at least *some* rain this week.

The three words you’ll hear a lot of this week: hot, humid, and stormy. A classic summertime pattern sets up shop across the Southeast as a moisture-laden air mass from the Gulf settles in. While much of the week ahead won’t be a wash, pop-up storms will be on the menu – especially through Wednesday evening. Partly-to-mostly cloudy skies will bubble up during the afternoons, but temperatures should still end up around average in the mid-to-upper 80s over the next three days. Some more sunshine should move in for the second half of the week, allowing for temperatures to soar into the 90s heading into the weekend. Highs should increase from the 70s into the 80s in the High Country this coming weekend, as well.

Tonight: Showers and storms taper off. Mostly cloudy. Low: 71°. Wind: S 5-10.

Monday: Hot and humid with pop-up storms. High: 85°. Wind: SW 5-10.

Monday Night: Storms early with mostly cloudy skies. Low: 69°. Wind: SW 5-10.

Tuesday: Variable clouds with PM scattered storms. High: 85°. Wind: SW 5-10.
