With a big Bermuda high pressure anchored in the Atlantic and an area of low pressure to our west, the week ahead will be hot and humid with scattered showers and storms. A very typical summer pattern. If you get caught under one of these storms, you could get 2+” of rain while other neighborhoods get missed. Severe weather is not expected, but still a good idea to stay weather aware in a pattern like this.
