Salisbury Police Open Homicide Investigation After Fatal Shooting

SALISBURY, N.C. — Detectives with the Salisbury Police Department have opened a homicide investigation after a man was shot and killed on Wednesday.

Officers say they responded to a call for shots fired on Grace Street in Salisbury, N.C. at 6:11 p.m. on June 9th, only to find a Black man with fatal gunshot wounds at the scene.

Police say the gunshot victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation into this case remains active and ongoing.
