Apple Pays Millions After iPhone Repair Techs Upload Customer’s Pics And Videos
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Apple has paid a multi-million dollar settlement to an Oregon woman after iPhone repair technicians uploaded explicit images and videos to the internet from a phone that she sent in for repair. According to legal documents obtained by The Telegraph, the pictures were uploaded to Facebook to appear as if the un-named woman posted them herself.
The woman was made aware of the incident when friends saw the videos and images on Facebook. She then sued Apple, and they settled.
Our question of the night: do you keep things on your phone that you wouldn’t want other people to see?
