Showers and Storms Linger Into Saturday
An unsettled Saturday ahead of slightly drier air on Sunday
Expect scattered showers and isolated storms through the afternoon and evening on Saturday. Isolated flash flooding and frequent lightning are still the primary threats. Some storms could produce 2”+ very quickly which could lead to flooding especially in low lying, poor drainage areas along with locations that have already seen a decent amount of rain this week. The severe weather threat is less than Marginal over the next couple of days, but I will not rule out a couple of severe thunderstorms this evening and Saturday – if we see them they will be very few and far between. On Sunday expect slightly lower humidity with isolated showers possible. Next week will be hot and still a bit humid on Monday and Tuesday, but much lower humidity does build in through mid week.
Tonight: Scattered showers and storms. Low: 71. Wind: W/SW 5-10.
Saturday: Scattered showers and storms. High: 86. Wind: W/SW 5-10.
Sunday: Slightly lower humidity. Isolated PM showers. High: 87. Wind: NE 5.
Have a wonderful and safe weekend!
