Deputies: 2 Missing, Endangered Adults Found In Cabarrus County

Deputies say two missing and possibly endangered adults have been found after going missing in Cabarrus County on Friday.

Police say 79-year-old Annette Gamel and her son 59-year-old Douglas Gamel are safe.

CABARRUS CO., N.C. — The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding two missing and possibly endangered adults.

Police say 79-year-old Annette Gamel and her son 59-year-old Douglas Gamel have not been seen since leaving their home on Old Salisbury Concord Road around 10 p.m. on June 9th.

Authorities say both Annette Gamel and Douglas Gamel have medical and health issues.

Annette Gamel is described as a White woman, 5 feet 6 inches, 140 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing red pants and a blue shirt.

Wade Gamel is described as a White man, 5 feet 7 inches, 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say the missing adults were last seen in a white 2016 Buick LaCross with the N.C. Registration FMP-3042.

Authorities say Annette Gamel is unable to walk without her walker and does not have it with her.
