Concord Police Search For Suspect Who Robbed Convenience Store

CONCORD, N.C. — The Concord Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding a man accused of robbing a convenience store at gunpoint Sunday.

The armed robbery happened at a 7-Eleven located on Concord Parkway South. According to police, the suspect walked to the business and as soon as the clerk was alone, he entered the business, pointed a handgun at the clerk, and demanded money along with the clerk’s phone.

The suspect has been described as a black man around 6’0” tall, weighing around 150-180 pounds, and has short twisty braids. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a black Nike sweatshirt, black jeans, black shoes, and was carrying a black Nike bookbag.

He was last seen running across Concord Parkway South down Pitts School Road.
