Is It Time To Cancel Chrissy Teigen?
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Chrissy Teigen’s apology to Courtney Stodden for trolling apparently was just the tip of the iceberg. Monday, the model and television personality released a Medium post where she said she is sorry for being an internet troll. She says in part, “As you know, a bunch of my old awful (awful, awful) tweets resurfaced. I’m truly ashamed of them. As I look at them and understand the hurt they caused, I have to stop and wonder: how could I have done that? Not a day, not a single moment has passed where I haven’t felt the crushing weight of regret for the things I’ve said in the past.”
She adds that other than Courtney Stodden, who she apologized to publicly and privately, there are more people she needs to reach out to privately. And while Teigen’s apology was met with a lot of support, it was also met with backlash and calls for her to be “canceled” for her past mistakes.
Our question of the night: should Chrissy Teigen be canceled?
