Gorgeous Weather Continues

Low humidity and sunshine in control across the Carolinas

Gorgeous across the east coast, but HOT out west. Death Valley had a noon temperature of 118° with just 5% humidity!

Tropics: An area of low pressure in the Bay of Campeche and southern Mexico is expected to become a tropical depression by Friday. This will bring heavy rain to the northern Gulf Coast and eventually track toward the Carolinas.

Expect partly cloudy skies this evening with overnight lows in the low 60s. More sunshine, lower humidity and average high temperatures still in control through Thursday, but enjoy it while it’s here! We will stay dry to close out the work week on Friday, but temperatures will rise back to the low 90s and humidity will slowly increase. As far as rain coverage goes, we are not expecting much over the next 4 days. The next best chance for rain will be widely scattered on Sunday, but coverage will increase through the beginning of next week. Tropical moisture will head toward the Carolinas as an area of low pressure moves on-shore along the northern Gulf Coast.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low: 61. Wind: N 5-10.

Thursday: Sunny skies. High: 85. Wind: N 5-10.

Enjoy the gorgeous weather!
