Humane Society of Charlotte Collaborates to Brew A Special Fundraiser with NoDa Brewing Company

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (News Release) — The Humane Society of Charlotte (HSC) will kick off a new fundraiser in collaboration with NoDa Brewing Company in July to raise money to support the mission of HSC. The online photo contest, Rescue Brew, will run through Saturday, July 31 and the winning pet photos will be announced on Friday, August 13.

Members of the Charlotte community and beyond are encouraged to submit photos of their dogs or cats and compete for the Top Dog or Queen City Kitty title. The winning dog and cat photo will be featured on a limited edition can of Rescue Brew, a special beer brewed by NoDa Brewing Company especially for HSC. The special brew’s can will be designed and created by local Charlotte artist, Robert Wildermuth of Robert Bobby Art.

The photo contest winners will be based on the highest number of online votes. The top 3 cat and top 3 dog photos will be selected as finalists and the winning “Top Dog” and “Queen City Kitty” photos will be chosen and announced by a selection committee on August 13, 2021.

Those interested can submit their pet’s photo and a brief description explaining why their dog or cat is the perfect face of Rescue Brew! All photo submissions require a $10 entry fee. For voters, $1 = 1 vote, per photo. All funds raised will support the mission of HSC and go directly to help animals at the Humane Society of Charlotte.

August 13, 2021: Photo contest winners announced and NoDa Rescue Brew Limited Edition can reveal.
