CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Experience the beauty of Alexander Homestead at a free cookout! On Saturday, July 10th, Alexander Homestead is hosting a “Cook-Out at the Homestead” with free burgers and hot dogs while supplies last. The event runs from 11am to 3pm and includes a cash bar, music, and corn hole. Bring your own blankets and chairs to get cozy on the lawn but leave your furry friends at home. (No pets allowed)
The Alexander Homestead all-inclusive wedding and event venue is located at 4717 Shamrock Drive, on the corner of Shamrock & Sharon Amity in East Charlotte. Minutes from the Plaza Midwood and NoDa neighborhoods, The Homestead has been host to Girl Tribe Pop Ups in the Garden, Married at First Sight Season 9, and Luke Bryan’s Two Lane Beer Launch Party.
The historic home was built in 1903 and is on the National Historic Registry. It is a women-owned business, owned locally by Tirzah Caffee.
