Summertime Pattern Dominates the Weekend
Afternoon showers return to the Carolinas
We continue to monitor a tropical wave off the coast of Africa. The National Hurricane Center has backed off the development chances and are now giving this wave a low 10% chance of tropical formation over the next 5 days.
Rinse and repeat! Back to a typical summertime pattern after a stretch of beautiful days.
Humidity will build through the remainder of our Friday along with increasing clouds through the evening. Expect overnight low temperatures this evening to bottom out in the upper 60s as an E/SE wind builds in. A typical summertime pattern dominates the weekend and week ahead with highs near 90 and lows near 70. Pop up showers and storms are in the forecast through the weekend and into next week.
Tonight: Increasing clouds. Low: 68. Wind: E/SE 5-10.
Saturday: Partly sunny. Isolated PM / scattered showers and storms. High: 87. Wind: S/SE 5-10.
Sunday: Partly sunny. Isolated PM / scattered showers and storms. High: 90.
Have a wonderful weekend!
