Summertime Heat, Humidity Return
Highs will hover around the 80s and 90s for much of the week to come.
It was nice while it lasted, but the cooler weather we’ve seen for the back half of the past week will be a distant memory by the end of the weekend. Winds out of the south and east will bring back stifling heat and humidity as we head into the final week of June. Expect highs around 80ΒΊ in the High Country with near-90ΒΊ temperatures everywhere else in the WCCB Charlotte viewing area for the next seven days. Our only reprieve from the heat will come in the form of isolated pop-up thunderstormsΒ during the afternoons. Lows should hang around the mild and muggy 60s and 70s overnight.
