Helicopter Pilot Survives Union Co. Crop-Dusting Crash


UNION CO., N.C. – An investigation is underway after a helicopter crash in Union County. Officials say the pilot was able to walk away.

It happened just before Noon on Sunday in a field on Roscoe Howey Road in Waxhaw.

According to investigators, the helicopter struck power lines while crop-dusting. This marks the third accident in Union County since 2019 involving crop-dusting helicopters.
