Hot and Steamy Week; Watching the Tropics
- Sticky week with temps back in the low 90s
- Watching the GA/SC Coast for Tropical Development
- Better rain and storm chances Friday/Saturday
A hot and sticky week with highs reaching the low 90s beginning today. Isolated to widely scattered storm chances return to the forecast each afternoon. Widespread rain and cooler temps arrive this weekend. A cold front brings rain and storms to the area by Friday morning. HIghs will be well below average only reaching the low to mid-80s.
Watching a tropical wave off the SC/GA coast which has a medium chance of development in the next day or so. It will enter the warmer Gulf stream where it could juice up in intensity and if this storm becomes better organized, tropical storm warnings for the southern SC coast/northern GA coast tonight. Regardless of if this storm becomes a tropical storm or not, it will be bringing heavy rain to the GA/SC coast by tonight with several inches of rainfall possible.
