Zack’s Hamburgers Closing After 46 Years In Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Another Charlotte gem is closing its doors.  Zack’s Hamburgers has been operating at the corner of Scaleybark and South Boulevard for more than 46 years.

They will serve their last meal on Thursday, July 1st.  The owners did not say why they are closing the business that first opened in 1975.

Price’s Chicken Coop, another Charlotte food treasure, closed its doors earlier this month due to the labor shortage, rising food costs, food quality, and another coin shortage, according to a post on their Facebook page.

Be sure to head over to Zack’s Hamburgers before July 1st.  They are located at 4009 South Boulevard.
