Another Steamy Day Ahead of Cold Front

Expect increasing showers Thursday evening through Friday

Expect overnight lows to bottom out in the low to mid 70s with a south/southwest wind. One more steamy day ahead of an approaching cold front. Rain coverage increases to scattered through the day Thursday ahead of an approaching cold front starting across the Mountains before marching down to the Piedmont. Showers will continue along the cold front through Friday, but it will not rain every second of the day. High temperatures on Friday only top out in the upper 70s near 80°. The holiday weekend looks wonderful behind the cold front with drier air building in.
