GASTONIA, N.C. — A person was injured in a shooting at a Sonic Drive-In restaurant in Gastonia Wednesday afternoon, according to the Gastonia Police Department.
Police responded to the restaurant, located on South New Hope Road, around 3:30 p.m after reports of a shooting.
The victim was taken to CaroMont Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, all individuals involved in the incident have been identified and are cooperating with detectives.
The investigation into the shooting is under investigation by the Gastonia Police.
