YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A York County homicide investigation is underway after a Clover man was found dead in a home late Wednesday, according to deputies.
Officials responded to Twins Streams Lake in Clover, South Carolina after receiving a suspicious person call. Upon arrival, York County deputies found a man dead on the property.
The coroner’s office identified the victim as 35-year-old Steven Kyle Faris. Faris was expected to turn 36 on Friday, July 9th.
The York County Sheriff’s Office has identified two suspects through an investigation that are responsible for the victim’s death. Both unidentified suspects are in custody.
York County Sheriff’s Department and the Coroner’s Office are investigating the active and ongoing case.
Autopsy and toxicology results are pending.
