SALISBURY, N.C. — A Salisbury man is facing a slew of charges after officers say he tied a woman up with duct tape and pointed a rifle at her.
The incident happened early Tuesday morning on Park Avenue. Jason Wyatt, Jr. was taken into custody and charged with kidnapping, assault by pointing a gun, misdemeanor child abuse, and resisting arrest.

The woman was reportedly able to call 911 during the incident. An infant was also inside the house but was not injured, according to Salisbury Police.
Police say Wyatt was intoxicated. He is currently in jail with no bond. No other details have been released at this time.
