Carowinds Debuts Its International Festival “Grand Carnivale” On July 17th
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carowinds is kicking off its international festival and cultural event “Grand Carnivale” on July 17th.
Officials with the amusement park invite guests to experience this all-new immersive cultural celebration with live entertainment, international food, costumed performers, unique crafts, parade floats, and much more from July 17th through August 1st.
China, Germany, France, India, Italy, and Spain will all be represented at the festival, officials say.
Guests are encouraged to come hungry and purchase a Grand Carnivale Tasting Card to enjoy six to nine different food tastings from all around the world.
Officials say the King and Queen of Grand Carnivale will also be on-site presenting the finest acts of international music, dancing, and acrobatics.
Guests can even line up along The Spectacle of Color Parade route to see performers wow their audience with extravagantly decorated floats and whimsical street performances.
Daily Admission Tickets are on sale here for $45 per person and Grand Carnivale Tasting Cards are on sale here for $35 per person for six tastings and $50 per person for nine tastings (save $5 when you buy online).
