CMPD: Missing 72-Year-Old Northwest Charlotte Man With Cognitive Issues Located

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says the 72-year-old man that was reported missing from northwest Charlotte has been located.

According to police, Henry Peterson has been reunited with his family.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 72-year-old man who was reported missing Monday evening.

Henry Peterson was last seen around 7 p.m. in the area of Remington Street, off of Beatties Ford Road, in northwest Charlotte. Police said that he has a cognitive impairment as well as other medical conditions.

Peterson has been described as a 6’3″ tall, weighing around 200 pounds with brown eyes and a mix of black and gray hair.

He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved blue plaid shirt, beige pants, white shoes, and a brown hat, according to a news release.

Anyone with information on Mr. Peterson’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
