Carolina Soul Band To Perform In Downtown York Summer Concert Series July 22nd

YORK, S.C. — It’s time to make your soul happy! The Carolina Soul Band is coming to York, S.C. for its next free summer concert on July 22nd.

Carolina Soul Band will take its audience on a throwback journey by playing Beach, Motown, Classic R&B, and Oldies but Goodies from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday evening.

Concertgoers are invited to show off their hot rods or classic cars during the evening of live music by driving onto the event area via. East Liberty Street onto Congress Street (at the police barricades).

Officials say to come hungry to the event as That Won Truck will be on-site serving up delish Asian-influenced cuisine with a southern twist and Priority 1 Bar-B-Q will be smoking’ up amazing BBQ.

SweetDawg Lemonade, Mr. Smiley’s Italian Ice, Grapevine Wine Shop, and Mike the Cigar Guy with The Good Leaf Feagins Cigar Shop will also be on-site at the next summer concert.

Officials remind concertgoers to not forget the downtown restaurants that will also be open Thursday evening including Tony’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant, Rosita’s Mexican grill, Wing King Cafe, and more.

So bring your lawn chair (or something to sit on) and come enjoy an evening in downtown York while listening to the soulful tunes of The Carolina Soul Band.
