CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Atrium Health says the COVID-19 Delta variant is in Charlotte and it’s impacting younger, unvaccinated populations. In fact, just last week, Atrium Health says nearly 99% of their COVID admissions were patients who were unvaccinated.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services says only 46% of North Carolina’s total population is fully vaccinated.
