Charlotte Women Seek Justice Two Years After ‘Vicious’ Murder Of Older Sister

CHARLOTTE — Two Charlotte women are speaking out about their sister’s vicious murder.  And, they’re asking the community to help police find her killer.

The body of 61-year-old Jennifer Banner was found wrapped in a tarn near a strip mall on Freedom Drive back in October of 2019.  An autopsy revealed she was decapitated.  Now, nearly two years later, no one has been arrested for this horrific crime, and Banner’s sisters are afraid and outraged.

“Somebody’s out there that knows something that happened to my sister.  Will you come forward, please in Jesus’ name, help us find this person before they do it to somebody else’s child?” says Cora Banner, victim’s sister.

“We’re going through something right now.  We don’t sleep good.  We think about it,” says Izzie Banner, victim’s sisters.

Crimestoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.  You don’t have to reveal your name, just your information.
