Deputies: 2 Bodies Found After Home In Troutman, N.C. Goes Up In Flames
TROUTMAN, N.C. — Two people were found dead after a home in Iredell County went up in flames on Tuesday, deputies say.
Firefighters with the Troutman Fire Department and other agencies arrived at the home on Loram Drive around 9 p.m. and fought the fire well into the night.
Deputies say they were called to assist when an adult son from the home on Loram Drive arrived at his grandmother’s house in Mooresville and called the fire in.
Detectives say hours before the home caught fire, the family inside had been involved in a domestic situation that prompted one son to leave.
Investigators say three other people were last known to be living at the home, but only two bodies were found once the fire was put out.
Deputies say the investigation into the cause and origin of the fire as well as the deaths is ongoing.
