Pinky’s Westside Grill In Charlotte To Raise Prices In Order To Stay Open

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Owner of Pinky’s Westside Grill in Charlotte, Greg Auten, took to Facebook Live on Thursday to say prices at the restaurant are going up. Auten says this price increase comes as a lot of items they receive from other countries are unavailable or hard to come by.

Auten says it is a tough time right now for the restaurant industry, as the global health crisis seems to be moving backwards with new Delta variant COVID cases on the rise.

Auten says the restaurant will charge customers the price they are paying to get things in, but no more than what they are worth.

Auten says hopefully prices will go back down when everyone gets vaccinated, and encourages the community to come together to get through this pandemic.
