CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg detectives are investigating a fatal shooting after finding a man dead in a north Charlotte hotel on Saturday.
Officers say they responded to the shooting on Hankins Road shortly before 12 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a man with an apparent gunshot wound and took him to the hospital where he later died.
The investigation into this death is active and ongoing.
