Frontier Flight Attendants Suspended After Passenger Duct Taped To Seat
MIAMI, F.L. — Frontier Airlines has temporarily suspended several flight attendants after a man was duct taped to a seat during a flight from Philadelphia to Miami, according to a statement released by Frontier.
The man, who has been identified as Maxwell Berry, is accused of inappropriately making physical contact with two flight attendants and then punching a third, according to Frontier’s statement.
Berry was arrested and charged with three counts of battery in connection to the incident that happened on July 31st, according to Miami Dade Police. A video of the incident was posted on Sam Sweeney’s Twitter page and can be seen here:
Frontier Airlines issued the following statement:
“During a flight from Philadelphia to Miami on July 31, a passenger made inappropriate physical contact with a flight attendant and subsequently physically assaulted another flight attendant. As a result, the passenger needed to be restrained until the flight landed in Miami and law enforcement arrived. The flight attendants will be, as required in such circumstances, relieved of flying pending completion of investigation of the events.”
