CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 16-year-old boy who was last seen during the beginning of July.
Scot Stines was last seen on Tuesday, July 6 around 6:40 p.m. on Hawthorne Lane, off of East 4th Street, outside of Uptown Charlotte. Police say he suffers from behavioral health issues and is currently under the custody of the Madison County Social Services Department.
Stines has been described as 5’7″ tall and weighing around 150 pounds.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black shoes, and a blue shirt with the word” Victory” written in white letters, according to a news release. Stines is believed to be on foot.
Anyone who sees or has information about Mr. Stines is asked to call 911 immediately.
