CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Make $15 an hour with city benefits by participating in Charlotte’s Career & Training Academy.
The city’s six-month long training program gives participants an opportunity to learn an entry-level job, along with soft skills training, and gives them the possibility of full-time employment with the city.
City officials say program positions include technical, skilled and labor trades at city departments, including:
- Charlotte Water.
- Aviation.
- Charlotte Area Transit System.
- Solid Waste Services.
- Storm Water Services and more.
City officials say applicants must apply from August 15th to August 24th and training will begin on September 13th.
