Wilson’s World: The 2021 Walk To End Alzheimer’s ‎With The Western Carolina Alzheimer’s Association

CHARLOTTE, N.C — Wilson was at Truist Field previewing the 2021 Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Katherine Lambert from the Western Carolina Chapter‎ of the Alzheimer’s Association shared more information on the upcoming walk and the recently approved Alzheimer’s treatment, Aducanumab. It’s the first treatment approved for Alzheimer’s disease since 2003. The Alzheimer’s Association has numerous virtual education programs for those living with Alzheimer’s and their families, including an upcoming Webinar Series in September.
Participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s will help in the fight to end Alzheimer’s and help fund possible cutting-edge treatments and services. ‎There are multiple Walk to End Alzheimer’s events throughout the region: Charlotte, Iredell County, Gaston, Cleveland, Lincoln and Rowan-Cabarrus.
The Charlotte event is at Truist Field on Saturday, October 23, 2021, 10:00 AM – NOON.
