Man Uses JumboTron At Baseball Game To Break Up With Girlfriend

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A special message displayed on a JumboTron at a baseball game in Ohio is going viral, not because it warmed fans’ hearts, but because it broke a heart instead. It read, “Alyssa, this relationship is over. From Tim.”

That message has now been seen and heard all around the world. Fans can purchase shout outs to go on the scoreboard at the Akron RubberDucks games for $5.

Officials say the shout out caught people off guard, and the announcer did not get a heads up before he read it. Akron RubberDucks Creative Services Coordinator Jack Haines says, “When that happened, the crowd went pretty crazy. They were pretty loud, and from up in the press box, it’s hard to hear some of the sounds, (but) we heard it for sure.”

Officials say they have not been able to verify who Alyssa and Tim actually are, but say all signs suggest the breakup was truly genuine.

Our question of the night: what is the worst way you have ever been dumped or dumped someone?
