Charlotte Firefighter Dies After Battling COVID-19 For Weeks

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fire officials say Charlotte Firefighter Jeffery Hager died on Friday after battling the coronavirus for several weeks.

Hager is a 24-year veteran with the Charlotte Fire Department and served his community until his death.

In 2013 Hager began serving the Huntersville Fire Department and was a local Huntersville resident.
