Phew, it has felt muggy the last few days. Cut-off low has been streaming moisture into the southeast. Regionally we have dealt with mainly scattered showers, but rain will become heavier and more widespread through the end of the week. Highs will once again reach the 80s with a better opportunity for a few downpours this afternoon. Rain and storm chances will increase through the end of the week. A disturbance off the east coast will supply even more moisture to the region keeping rain and storm chances in the forecast through Saturday. A few showers Sunday, but expect conditions to improve with drier air streaming in for early next week.
