Police Looking For Suspects After Rock Hill Jewelry Store Robbed

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Officers are investigating after a jewelry store at a Rock Hill mall was robbed Friday evening.

The Rock Hill Police Department responded to Adams Jewelers at Rock Hill Galleria, on Dave Lyle Boulevard, around 7:45 p.m. in reference to a robbery in progress. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who stated two black men came into the store pointing a gun.

According to a news release, one suspect hopped over the glass counter while the other ran around it both going to the safe in the back room. The suspects grabbed items from the safe as the victim fled the store. The victim said they heard two shots fired while running.

One suspect has been described by the victim as a black man with a white hoodie and black pants carrying a backpack while the other suspect is said to be a black man with a black hoodie and black pants, police said.

The investigation into this case is active and ongoing.
