Summer-Like Heat to End the Week
- AM Patchy Dense Fog
- Advisory liking coming soon for mountains/foothills
- Sunny and pleasant day
- Temps warm into the upper 80s by the end of the week
- Saturday rain/storms
- Fall returns by Sunday
Dense fog is developing this morning which will likely lead to an advisory for the mountains and foothills. This will likely stick around through mid-morning. Sunny skies and pleasant highs today with temps reaching the low 80s. Temps will climb to the mid to upper 80s through the rest of the week – this is 10-12 degrees above average. A strong cold front will bring showers and a few storms to the area by Saturday afternoon. The good news is this will be a quick-moving boundary, so the whole weekend won’t be a wash. Much cooler and drier air fills in by Sunday. Overnight lows will fall to the 40s Sunday morning with temps topping out in the low 70s. This cooler and drier trend will stretch well into the next week.
