“Squid Game” Boosts Netflix Subscriptions
LOS GATOS, CA.– Business is booming at Netflix. The movie streaming service has seen a big boost to the number of subscribers signing up for its service.
The surge in subscriptions is being attributed to the popular series airing on Netflix called “Squid Games”. Since the series aired, Netflix has gotten 4.5 million more subscribers.
And according to Netflix’s calculations, more than 11 million accounts have watched the show. The show is about contestants who compete in deadly childhood games to win money.
