Wilson’s World: Sweet Spot Studio Getting Festive For The Holidays
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — November means it’s time to talk about sweet stuff for the holidays and ways to help the community Wilson’s World did both today at Sweet Spot Studio!
Jossie Lukacik opened Sweet Spot Studio CLT in 2018 to help aspiring bakers throughout the Charlotte area. The response has been fantastic, even throughout the pandemic. Now, Jossie and her team want to help acknowledge healthcare workers.
Sweet Spot Studio has 400 large advent calendar boxes to fill with notes, candy, and other items to bring medical workers joy and to say thanks each day in December. The Sweet Spot team is asking for donations of encouraging notes, candy, stickers, and $5 gift cards. Donations can be dropped off to Sweet Spot Studio after 1 PM Tuesday-Fridays through November 19th. They are also looking for volunteers to help fill the boxes, a great opportunity for anyone wanting to help healthcare workers. If you would like to request boxes for your workplace please email hello@sweetspotstudioclt.com with your address, and number of boxes requested.
“Sweet Spot Gives Thanks” is coming up on November 21st at Catawba Brewing Company. You can stock up on desserts for your Thanksgiving celebration, buy Cookie Cutters, baking tools & other gifts, many things that make great stocking stuffers! There will also be a Free Cookie Decorating Station! Masks are required regardless of vaccination status. Find out more at SweetSpotStudioCLT.com
