CMPD Requests Public’s Help Identifying Two Suspects In Robbery Of 7-Eleven

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help with identifying two suspects accused of robbing a 7-Eleven right outside of uptown Charlotte in December.

Police say the robbery happened at the convenience store, located on North Tryon Street, Dec. 30 around 6:30 a.m.

The suspects reportedly entered the business, got drinks and approached the counter. According to police, the suspects then physically assaulted an employee, took property from the business, and left the location on foot.

Both suspects have been described as black men. One suspect was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with black jeans and black sneakers, according to a news release. The other suspect was last seen wearing a royal and navy hooded blue puffy jacket and black jeans.
