CATAWBA CO., N.C. — Masks will be required in all Catawba County Schools beginning Tuesday, January 18th, according to the school board.
In an emergency meeting on Friday, the school board voted to implement a mask mandate because of surging COVID cases.
School officials say masks have been optional since December 7th, 2021.
