CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Solid Waste Services in Charlotte and Concord be operating on a modified schedule Monday.
Solid Waste Services in Charlotte will not be collecting trash, recycling, yard waste, or bulk items on Monday.
Services instead will operate on a one-day delay beginning Tuesday, January 18th (with Friday customers receiving collection on Saturday, January 22nd).
In Concord, no yard waste or loose leaf collection services will be provided on Monday.
Officials say customers should have their yard waste at the curb by 6 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18th.
Concord crews will begin Monday and work through each day’s route to catch up, with the goal of all yard waste being collected by Friday, January 21st.
Garbage and recycling service will operate on a normal schedule in Concord, according to a news release.
