NFL Plans For Full Capacity Super Bowl In Los Angeles Despite Rising COVID Cases

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Sports fans, you can relax. The NFL has confirmed the Super Bowl is going on as planned February 13th in Los Angeles. The 56th Super Bowl is being held at SoFi Stadium. The game will be seated at full capacity, with more than 70,000 fans expected. Last year’s Super Bowl in Tampa only had 25,000 fans due to COVID restrictions. Attendees will need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test and must wear masks.

NFL Live Event Operations Senior Director Katie Keenan, “Just to start and clarify all of our plans for the Super Bowl and Super Bowl week remain fully in place for a month from (Friday). We are working along, with everyone here on this stage, with the local L.A. County Health Department to make sure all of our events are executed safely and with all of the guidelines that have been established.”

Obviously, the Carolina Panthers are not going to the Super Bowl.

Our question of the night: who do you think is going to make it to Super Bowl 56?
