Snow Covered Ground Seen From Space

Satellite imagery shows snow and sleet covered ground across the Carolinas

With clear skies across the Carolinas the past couple of days, satellites 22,000 miles above earth have been able to capture snow/sleet covered ground across the Carolinas.

While it may look like cloud cover, the arrows in the picture above are pointing toward snow/sleet on the ground from the winter storm that passed through Sunday, January 16, 2022.
