The Winter Weather Advisory has been expanded to now include Gaston, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Union and York counties.

Snow showers will be isolated through Friday afternoon before becoming more numerous between 6 pm – 12 am. The snow totals will increase the farther south and east you are in the WCCB Charlotte area. While snow can be exciting, please be mindful as temperatures fall into the teens roads will become slick. If you do not have to be on the roads it is recommended you stay off of them through Saturday morning.
