CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Krispy Kreme is showing support for those who are rolling up their sleeves to give blood in January with a free Original Glazed dozen.
According to a news release, the country is facing its worst blood shortage in over a decade. With January being National Blood Donor Month the popular doughnut shop is taking the opportunity to say “thank you” to the community for stepping up.
For one week, Jan. 24-31, anyone who donates blood or platelets will receive a free Original Glazed® dozen. To redeem the promotion, customers just have to show proof of donation and date via your donor band or sticker, or flash your donor app at participating Krispy Kreme shops or drive-thrus.
Each guest qualifies for one dozen Original Glazed doughnuts per blood donation.
Customers can give blood through American Red Cross or another blood donation organization.
