What Is Your Favorite Tom Brady Moment?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – After 22 seasons, and 7 Super Bowl wins, Tom Brady has decided to hang up his helmet. The announcement comes after reports over the weekend that he was stepping away from the game. The quarterback announced on Instagram that he is ending his career at the age of 44. The five-time Super Bowl MVP has set records for the most touchdowns and playoff wins over his career. Last season, he led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to their first Super Bowl victory since the early 2000s.

There’s been an outpouring of support for the man whom many call the greatest player in NFL history. New England Patriot’s team owner Robert Kraft, whom Brady played 20 seasons for, saying: “I have the greatest respect for Tom personally and always will. His humility, coupled with his drive and ambition, truly made him special.”

Brady’s current team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers tweeting, “Saying goodbye to a legend is never easy, but we wish him continued success in retirement.”

Other celebs like Shaq, The Rock and A-Rod also sending their well wishes. Football fans here in Charlotte said this about Brady’s retirement:
“I think he could’ve probably played another year or two. But it’s better to leave on top than see yourself deteriorate.
“Sad to see him go. But, you know, great career. Great guy. Great player.”
