Wilson’s World: Groundhog’s Day at the Schiele Museum

CHARLOTTE, NC — Did the Schiele Museum’s Guinea Pig see it’s shadow?  Wilson visited the Schiele Museum in Gastonia, where they will be celebrating Groundhogs and other Rodents with a special family friendly event on Saturday!

The Schiele’s “Rodent Rampage” starts at 11am on
Saturday, February 5th. Rodents have been scurrying around people since the beginning of human civilization. Small, big, wide, and short, rodents have impacted agriculture and society throughout history. Learn how rodents can be human allies, menaces, and when it comes to Groundhogs, they are celebrities!

The second largest planetarium in North Carolina, the Schiele Museum’s James H. Lynn Planetarium and Science Theater has numerous special presentations this month, including a special Valentine’s program called “Love is in the Stars” on February 11th. Later this month “The Sky Tonight” and also “Did an Asteroid really Kill the Dinosaurs” will be shown.
