CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say anyone traveling in Uptown Charlotte on Saturday should not be alarmed at the sight of CMPD Bomb Squad vehicles as the police department is conducting pre-planned training exercises.

From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on February 5th, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Bomb Squad will be conducting these exercises on South Tryon Street.
